Cultivating the Next Generation in Columbus The future of our community was on bright display on May 24, 2025, in Columbus, Ohio, as the New American Heritage Sports League (NASHL) gathered to celebrate our youth athletes. It was a day defined by joy and recognition, as young players were honored with medals for their hard work, discipline, and passion for soccer. These young stars represent more than just athletic potential; they are the future leaders of our community, and providing them with a supportive environment to thrive remains a core mission of the NASHL.

A Legacy of Excellence and Unity The momentum of the league continues to build following the success of the Community Engagement Tournament. We are proud to celebrate the 1st place champions who demonstrated extraordinary teamwork and sportsmanship to claim their title. This tournament served as a vital bridge, bringing together diverse groups to celebrate unity and athletic excellence under the NASHL banner. From the inspiring displays on Opening Day to the final championship whistle, these events highlight the unifying power of sport in our region.

Expanding the Horizon: New Teams and National Representation The NASHL is excited to announce that our competitive field is growing with the addition of elite talent from across the United States. We officially welcome two powerhouse clubs to our upcoming competitions:

  • Al Nor FC: Bringing talent and strong representation all the way from Seattle, Washington.

  • KB Stars Club: Joining us from Minneapolis, Minnesota, this team brings incredible energy and competitive spirit to the league.

Looking Ahead: Somali Week Ohio 2026 The anticipation is already building for the premier event on our calendar: the Somali Week Ohio Tournament. Scheduled to take place from April 2–5, 2026, this indoor soccer tournament will bring together the best athletes for four days of high-intensity competition. We invite all fans, families, and community members to join us in Ohio to witness elite athleticism and celebrate our shared cultural pride.
