MOGADISHU, SOMALIA — The New American Heritage Sports League (NAHSL) has officially executed its latest athletic event in Mogadishu, Somalia, continuing the institutional rollout of the Peace Cup tour. Hosted at Macquul Stadium, the event brought together prominent digital creators and community figures for a structured match between Team Shabalaza and the Somali YouTubers.
The match delivered a competitive standard of play before an engaged local audience. Following a tightly contested 90 minutes, Team Shabalaza secured a 3 to 2 win over the Somali YouTubers. Beyond the sporting result, the fixture served its primary operational objective: utilizing organized athletics to encourage community participation and cross-sector collaboration.
The Mogadishu fixture aligns with NAHSL’s broader strategic roadmap, following established tournaments in Guriceel, Balanbale, and Laascaanood. By integrating digital media personalities and local stakeholders into structured sports programming, the organization continues to reinforce its institutional commitment to youth empowerment and regional peace-building.
NAHSL acknowledges the participation of the teams, the management of Macquul Stadium, and the local audience for supporting the execution of this regional sports initiative.
